ITINERARY OF: 4 DAYS TOUR FROM FES TO MARRAKECH VIA MERZOUGA

DAY 1 : FEZ – AZROU – MIDELT – ERFOUD - RISSANI - MERZOUGA

Fes Sahara tours is a private Morocco tour from Fez to abandon and Marrakech. we’ll depart for Merzouga, passing through the good cedar forests of Azrou, where troops of untamed Barbary Apes (Barbary Macaque) live. it is a great opportunity to require photos of the wilderness. Then we continue via the center chain of mountains toward the valley of Tafilalt. We’ll have lunch in an exceeding restaurant in Midelt. Then we drive through Erfoud, famous for its dates and fossils, crossing several Berber villages and Rissani, the capital of Tafilalt ( Tafilalt is taken into account joined of the most important oases in the world). Then we supply on to Merzouga. Dinner and overnight in an exceeding riad – Merzouga.

DAY 2: MERZOUGA DESERT CAMEL TREK AND 1 NIGHT DESERT CAMP

in the Morning after your breakfast and shower, you may start exploring the desert area by visiting the Gnawa village of Khamlia, where we’ll learn more about Gnawa music. Afterward, may meet Nomad families still living under Berber tents in Sahara. and after lunch, we’ll fight to the village of Merzouga. From here we ride camels for about 1h30 minutes to arrive at the desert camp where we’ll spend this day within the sand dunes. we’ll enjoy the desert sunset and therefore the dinner is served at the camp.

DAY 3: MERZOUGA CAMEL RIDE - TODGHA GORGE - DADES VALLEY -OURZAZATE

next day get up early to enjoy an exquisite sunrise on the dunes then take a camel ride back to your hotel. After freshening up and breakfast we’ll leave for Tinghir, Todgha Gorges where you may have your lunch. After lunch we’ll drive through the Dades Valley towards Kalaat M’Gouna and Ouarzazate. This road provides numerous photo opportunities. We’ll visit the Roses valley and Sekoura village, then still Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa“, where we are going to have dinner and spend the night.

DAY 4: OUARZAZATE - MARRAKECH

After breakfast within the hotel, we’ll drive to explore the famous Ait Benhaddou kasbah, the biggest Kasbah in Morocco. The kasbah was built by Et Hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chieftains during the 18th century, now a house of the many Glaoui people. Your journey will continue through the majestic Tizi n’tichka Pass (2260m) over the High chain of mountains, before ending at your accommodation in Marrakech.
